Anne Burrell
Anne W. Burrell, an American television chef and former Institute of Culinary Education instructor and a TV presenter. The host of her own Food Network show Secrets of a Restaurant Chef and co-host of Worst Cooks in America. Anne Burrell's Food Network show Secrets of a Restaurant chef and her signature spiky blond locks and pumped to the max, shares simple techniques that anyone can grasp. Chef Burrell was also employed by many of the best restaurants that are located in New York, studied the food culture and culinary traditions of Italy as well as competed on Food Network's Iron Chef America. As a child in the upstate of New York, Chef Burrell developed a passion for cooking and food at the age of. She furthered her interest in working in the restaurant business by enrolling at The Culinary Institute of America following her graduation in English and Communications from Canisius College, Buffalo NY. The student says "I thoroughly enjoyed my time as a Culinary Institute Of America student. I loved every minute of it." It was difficult to master, do or work enough. After graduation, Burrell worked at La Bottega del 30 in Tuscany and La Taverna del Lupo (in Umbria) and attended an Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners. While in Italy allowed her to comprehend and appreciate Italian tradition and philosophy, and has made an impression on her perception of food. Burrell is a famous ambassador to the Juvenile Diabetic Research Foundation. Additionally, she was a part of the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board, which helps kids with disabilities. As a guest speaker and coach, she travels throughout America to speak about her passion for cooking as well as her career.
