Dawson was born May 9th, 1979. She is an American producer, actress and
director. Her first feature film appearance was in 1995's drama series, the
independent Kids. Dawson has since appeared in films like He Got Game (1998)
and Josie and the Pussycats (1901), Men in Black II (2006), Death Proof (2008),
Seven Pounds (2008) and Percy Jackson and the Olympians (2010). Dawson is also
a voiceover for Warner Bros./DC Comics as well as ViacomCBS Nickelodeon's
Nickelodeon unit. For her role as Rent, Dawson was awarded the Satellite Award
in Best Supporting Actress Motion Picture. And for Top Five, Dawson was
nominated for the Critics Choice Movie Award for Best Actress in Comedy. Dawson
was born on the 9th of May, 1979 in New York City. Her mother, Isabel Celeste,
is of Afro-Cuban and Puerto Rican ancestry. Isabel was just 16 at the time that
Rosario was born. She didn't marry Rosario's biological father, Patrick C.
Harris. Rosario's mother, Greg Dawson, was a construction worker at the age of
one year old. Dawson is four years older than Clay. Clay is Dawson’s
half-brother. Dawson is also famous for playing a variety of roles in
comic-book adaptations.These include Gail in Sin City (2005) and Sin City: A
Dame to Kill For (2014), Claire Temple in five of the shows from Marvel/Netflix
(2015-2018), and singing the character of Diana Prince/Wonder Women in the DC
Animated Movie Universe and Space Jam: A New Legacy and Barbara Gordon/Batgirl
from The Lego Batman Movie. In the year 2020, she played Ahsoka Tano in the
second season of The Mandalorian, and is set to star in the upcoming Disney+
original series Ahsoka. Also, she has a regular role in the Dwayne Johnson
autobiographical comedy series Young Rock in 2021.
